Left Behind (Movie Review)

a-billboard-for-the-2014-left-behind-movie-starring-nicolas-cage-is-seen-on-display-in-new-york-cityAre you ready for the end? Because its coming. The other night i went to see the new Left Behind movie with Nicolas Cage. It had better acting then the old ones with Kirk Cameron but it was still kinda cheesy.  Let me tell you what all i thought.

The story is a good story its just the way they went about telling it. I will say they better make another otherwise it just won’t tell the whole story. It had moments where it was just like “that wasn’t realistic”. I’d probably give it a 4 out of 10 though.

47_LeftBehind_poster_webThe movie is based from the book series Left Behind, i haven’t read those books yet but i think i will soon! I knew before i watched it that it was gonna be a Hollywood spin-off but i wanted to see how they did it. It’s about the rapture in the bible and if you have no idea what i’m talking about i suggest you read it, because it is a real thing and it will happen, maybe not exactly with cars and planes crashing everywhere and buildings blowing up but it will happen, and probably soon. So be prepared for the end.

But anyways the movie was okay, like i said a 4 out of 10. I guess i suggest you go watch it! but if you did like the movie please like this post and follow me for more movie reviews and more!

Just Rambling,

  1. I haven’t seen the movie but ‘4 out of 10’ sounds about right from others I have read. However ‘eh’ the movie is, it gives us a chance to open the conversation with others. Yes. though we don’t know when, the end is coming, and even if we don’t see THE END in our lifetime, ‘the grass withers, the flower fades,’ and so do we.

But “It’s about the rapture in the bible” needs fleshing out because the ‘left behind’ scenario is not in the Bible which speaks only of the Second Coming. http://textsincontext.wordpress.com/2013/05/11/second-coming-rapture-vs-scripture-christian/
